Clarence Robison
Clarence Franklin Robison (June 18, 1923 – September 26, 2006) was a longtime Brigham Young University (BYU) track coach and a member of the United States Olympic team at the 1948 Summer Olympics.
==Biography==
Robison was a native of Fillmore, Utah and a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He studied at BYU in Provo, Utah where he also ran on the track team. He graduated in 1949.
Robison was a competitor for the United States in the 1948 Summer Olympics in the 5000 metres.
Robison later became a track coach at BYU, where he stayed for 40 years and was affectionately known as "Coach Robby". The track at BYU has been named in honor of Robison. His son Mark Robison has also been a BYU track coach.
